Avengers: Endgame has made box office history by making a record-breaking $1.2 billion in global ticket sales in its opening run.
The Disney blockbuster has become the fastest film ever to break the $1 billion barrier, doing so in just five days!
The movie smashed its previous record, set by Avengers: Infinity War, which drew in $640 million, according to a BBC report Monday.
In the US alone, Endgame, which stars Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, brought in a record $350 million.
It also drew huge audiences in China, where it made a record $330.5 million after opening there on Wednesday, ahead of North America.
Endgame is the 22nd film in the Marvel Avengers series, and stars heroes Captain Marvel, Captain America and Black Widow, as they try to defeat Thanos.
The first Avengers movie, Iron Man, came out in 2008.
