While you are enjoying the warmth of winter wrapped in a blanket, many are shivering throughout the day and night. Many do not even earn enough to buy warm clothes to remain safe from the biting cold resulting in diseases like pneumonia, cold afflictions and even to death. To aid the underprivileged suffering from quivering cold, the youth of the country came up with a noble idea-- Project Kombol (‘blanket’). Last year, 'Project Kombol' distributed both winter clothes and blankets in 27 districts to the poorest people of the country. This year for distributing the warmth of blanket across 34 districts, Project Kombol announced 'Concert for Kombol' once again to be held on January 8th, 2015 from 1 pm at Residential Model School, Dhaka.
Amasing bands and artists like LRB, Mila, Miles, Warfaze, Arnob& Friends, Tahsan and the Band and many more are coming forward selflessly to support such a noble project of the youth. You just need to bring a quality blanket or buy a pass worth BDT 300 to attend the concert. The concert has no sponsor and the whole event is powered only by great souls supporting the cause. Your blanket is the ticket of the concert, otherwise passes are available at all Bandbox outlets till 7th January, 2016. They will also be available on spot on the event day.
