ঝিনাইদহের মহেশপুর উপজেলায় এক চা দোকানিকে কুপিয়ে হত্যা করা হয়েছে। মহেশপুর থানার ওসি মো. সেলিম মিয়া জানান, সোমবার সন্ধ্যাসাড়ে ৭টার দিকে উপজেলার ধানহাড়িয়া গ্রামে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। খবর বিডিনিউজ টোয়েন্টিফোর ডটকমের। নিহত জীবন চৌধুরী ওরফে টিটন (৩৪) ওই গ্রামের সিরাজুল ইসলামের ছেলে। ওসি বলেন, বাড়ির সঙ্গে লাগোয়া চায়ের দোকানে বসে ছিলেন ছিলেন জীবন। এ সময় তিনটি মোটরসাইকেল করে দুর্বৃত্তরা এসে তাকে এলোপাতাড়ি কুপিয়ে জখম করে। তাকে উদ্ধার করে প্রথমে মহেশপুর উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমেপ্লেক্সে নেওয়া হয়। সেখানে শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতি হলে যশোর হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়। সেখানে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় রাত ১১টার দিকে জীবন মারা যান বলে জানান এ পুলিশ কর্মকর্তা। জীবনের বিরুদ্ধে সাতটি প্রতারণার মামলা বিচারাধীন রয়েছে জানিয়ে তিনি বলেন, “পূর্ব...
