Russia successfully launched its Progress MS-13 cargo ship to the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday, Russian state space corporation Roscosmos said.
The Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrying the spacecraft blasted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 0934 GMT, Roscosmos said in a statement.
The ship will deliver to the ISS 700 kg of fuel and gas, 1,350 kg of various equipment and cargo, and 420 kg of water and food.
After the launch of the Russian ship was postponed from December 1 due to a faulty cable, it is now scheduled to dock with the ISS on December 9, according to Roscosmos.
