Dhaka has hosted a SIGGRAPH event, a global conference which showcases the best and the latest additions to computer graphics and interactive techniques, at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, recently.
The vision of the event was to build a platform to have local stories delivered to a global audience, says a press release.
The industry experts shared the road to developing cutting-edge innovations and captivated the audience by discussing the immense potential of creative and technical artefacts, disciplines, and industries relating to computer graphics and interactive techniques.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor attended the event as the chief guest.
SIGGRAPH Dhaka Secretary Zubayer Kaolin, also CEO & Founder of Ogniroth Studios, discussed the detailed roadmap for the annual conference.
SIGGRAPH Dhaka Advisor Nafees Bin Zafar, also Technology Development Supervisor of Digital Domain & Jury Member Academy of MPAS, was the keynote speaker at the event.
Sonia Bashir Kabir, MD, Microsoft Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Laos was also present at the conference on computer graphics.
Zubayer Kaolin and Sonia Bashir Kabir discussed the bountiful role of modern technology which can take Bangladeshi culture to a global stage.
