The country witnessed its active internet users drop by half a million in November, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) said in a report on Tuesday.
There were 99.569 million active internet users in October, which came down by 0.51 million to 99.059 million by the end of November, the BTRC said in the report, according to local media reports.
The report said the number of active mobile internet users fell in the last month to 93.32 from 93.79 the previous month.
The number of active ISPs and PSTNs (public switched telephone network) internet users stood at 57.39 million in November, which is up by 10,000 from 57.38 in October, it said.
The BTRC report added that the number of active WiMAX internet users declined by 5,000 in November from 38,000 a month ago.
