Vacancy Type: Public Health Epidemiologist
Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading the design and implementation of public health programs (like community needs/situational assessments, rapid epidemiological studies, outbreak investigations etc.)

Assist in capacity building of CC health team on public health concepts and implementation of public health campaign activities in the respective CC
-
Regularly participate in capacity-building initiatives (formal training, mentoring/ coaching) taken by the project.

Maintain an excellent working relationship with Chief Health Officer/ Designate and CC Health Team, MOHFW Authorities, and other relevant stakeholders through regular meetings and implementation of joint public health programs.

Responsible for managing the public health program activity budget at CC/District level and preparing activity reports as necessary.

Requirements:

Medical Graduate (MBBS) is required, preferably with Master's in Public Health (MPH)

At least 2 years experience in public health programming, preferably in an urban context

Experience in community-based health programming and public health research works.
