Job Responsibilities:

  • To plan, organize and implement qualitative data collection processes, and provide guidance and direction to the field team for effectively conducting high-quality data.
  • Monitoring and supervision of both qualitative and quantitative data collection.
  • Reviewing literature and preparing guidelines for research protocol implementation.
  • Conducting Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), In-Depth Interviews (IDI).
  • Analyzing data using qualitative data analysis software and preparing interpretations of data.
  • Writing up scientific reports and manuscripts for journal publications.
  • Organize and facilitate training, and workshops on qualitative research.
  • Some other administrative tasks related to implementing the research.

Educational Requirements

  • Master’s degree in any discipline. However, preference will be given to the candidates of Anthropology, Sociology, Public Health, Public Policy, MBBS or related fields with relevant experience and a strong interest in qualitative research.

Other Requirements:

  • Research and/or project management experience at least 2-3 Years.
  • Must have scientific writing skills and good command in writing and speaking English as well.

Job Location: Based in Dhaka, but travel to the field sites during data collection
