Vacancy Type: Staff Lawyer
Responsibilities:
- Interviewing clients for legal aid before the Supreme Court and receiving applications for legal aid required.
- Providing opinions with respect to the merits of applications receiving for legal aid in the high court or submitting applications to the DD legal for opinion.
- Drafting petitions as required.
- Liaising with panel lawyers regarding cases and other activities as per BLAST guidelines.

Educational Requirements:
- LLB/LLM degree from any reputed institution.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 3 years
Additional Requirements:
- High court enrolment with a minimum of 2 years of practice experience in the high court.
- Working with the NGO sector is preferable.
- Commitment to public interest advocacy.
- Sound managerial skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in the team.
- Good writing, speaking, and research skills in both Bangla and English.
- Litigation drafting.
