Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical advice and support for the implementation of Global, regional, and country initiatives.

Collaborate with national counterparts and partners to improve and strengthen the country's capacity in prioritizing risk areas, decision-making, and implementation of vector control interventions based on the analysis of epidemiological and entomological information including insecticide resistance.

Support development and implementation of strategy/policy/action plan related to vector-borne diseases and public health pesticides management.

Support strengthening inter-programmatic, intra-sectoral, intersectoral action and collaborative action, in vector prevention and control through multilevel multisectoral integration.

Education Required:

Essential: M. Sc. Zoology/Life Sciences, preferably with specialization in Entomology/A master’s degree in public health Entomology / MBBS with an advanced degree related to Entomology.

Desirable: Certified training in Data Management, Epidemiology, vector management, and public health pesticide management will be an asset.
Experience Required:

Essential: 05 years experience in a relevant field of public health-related VBDs, vector risk management and data management.

Desirable: 02 years of working experience in public health-related vector management and working experience in international organizations.

Monthly salary: BDT 153,695.00 (SSA – 8, Step I) (non-negotiable)
