Role: Gender Based Violence Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Case Management

  • Specific Prevention Interventions

  • Overall GBV Programme Implementation

  • Monitoring and Reporting

  • Internal and External Coordination

  • Supervision and Capacity Building

  • Safety Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • University education in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Law, or related fields. Applicants from other fields who demonstrate relevant personal skills and critical thinking will be considered.

  • Masters preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with vulnerable communities and service provision in Cox’s Bazar humanitarian GBV response or protection interventions.

  • Experience in GBV or MHPSS is strongly preferred.

  • Experience of working with INGOs, NGOs or the UN.
