Role: Environmental Policy, Resource Efficiency Advisor
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing an area of responsibility that forms part of the project objectives, team agreements and/or agreements with the superior.
- Assisting project initiatives to provide professional advisory services to and cooperate with a broad range of target groups.
- Advise supervisor on all tasks when implementing GIZ rules and regulations.
- Advise supervisor in the field of project planning, steering, and monitoring.
- Independently implement goals and requirements set by the line manager.
- Make decisions that have a short-term effect within a limited project area/ unit.
- Assist supervisor to identify day-to-day problems and suggest appropriate solutions.

Requirements:
- Master’s in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Management/ Water resources engineering or relevant subjects.
- 5 years in relevant occupational experience.
- Knowledge in the field of Bangladesh's water sector, environmental policy/strategies, and relevant government institutions is required.
- Experience in communication with federal ministries/ policy advice and in cooperation with other donors would be an asset.
