Role: Communications Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communications and advocacy strategy development and implementation.
  • Traditional and digital media engagement.
  • Content gathering and production.
  • Donor visibility generation and dissemination.
  • Cross-cutting support to programmes, partnerships and other WFP units/offices.
  • M and E.
  • Reputational risk mitigation.
  • Others.

  • Education: Advanced University degree in Journalism, International Relations, Public Relations, Communications, or other relevant fields, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training/ courses.
  • Experience: Overall, Seven years or more of solid, responsible, and relevant work experience in communications-related fields where a minimum of four years of professional experience is required.
  • Language: Excellent written and oral/communications skills in both English and Bangla. Knowledge of Rohingya dialect an added advantage.
