Name of the Position: Lead, Food
Job Responsibilities:
- Own the P and L, demand and supply side metrics for our food business and formulate mid and long-term growth strategies; communicate and align plans with our execution teams, leadership teams, board members and investors.
- Take initiatives, run marketplace experiments, lead the delivery of key strategic projects cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders, shape our product strategy and roadmap in food, execute it through our product managers, and coordinate with marketing and operations on growth initiatives.
- Act as the point of contact for interfacing with 3rd parties, including building partnerships and coordinating with regulatory bodies.
- Work to ensure our pricing and product offering continues to remain competitive. Ideate and launch new businesses, and explore expanding the business into new cities where there is opportunity.
- Where appropriate, identify talent gaps and own hiring for those roles.
Job Requirements (Education/ Skill):
- 5+ years of experience in product management consulting, analytics or related roles; ideally 2+ years leading the growth and go-to-market of consumer products in two-sided markets.
- B.S. and an advanced degree in a technical field is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in handling ambiguity, evidenced by previous experience in defining, building, launching and growing a business to scale; experience managing a P and L is preferred.
- Experience in successfully executing multi-year roadmaps, including managing multi-disciplinary (and technical) teams to meet quarterly metrics and iterating roadmaps where needed.
- Evidence of successfully using data to guide decision-making and product analytics to run experiments and inform product development.
- Strong familiarity with popular project management tools, including Figma / Asana / Google Suite / JIRA.
