Role: Research Specialist for Preparing the Sixth Edition of the Regulatory Guideline on Business Start-up Licenses
Job Responsibilities:
- Update process maps and related information (process steps, required documents) for licenses and permits included in the fifth edition.
- Liaise with government agencies to validate process maps and related information for each license as per allocated areas.
- Participate in meetings with government authorities to obtain information about existing and new licenses and permits.
- Compile data and develop process maps in Microsoft Visio or similar applications in line with the requirements for the sixth edition of the guideline.
- Discuss and validate collected information with the senior research coordinator and project manager of BUILD and ensure compliance with the formatting requirements and template structure for the sixth edition of the guideline.

Job Requirements:
- University degree in economics, law, policy, or related fields. A Master’s degree would be considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of the basic principles of business licensing.
- Previous experience in preparing basic process maps and a working knowledge of Microsoft Visio would be considered an advantage.
