Job Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • plan and develop the brand strategy and the yearly roadmap for brand activities.
  • oversee activities across all the communication and engagement channels.
  • seek out opportunities for content partnerships with popular social media influencers/content to reach and connect with the smartphone savvy youth of Bangladesh.
  • plan and execute BTL activation initiatives in youth-relevant locations in key regions.
  • apply digital marketing strategies to utilize all possible channels (own/paid) and platforms (FB, Google, DSPs, Forum, In-app channels etc.) to reach and engage the urban youth of Bangladesh.
  • oversee and maintain all digital marketing matrixes to ensure that monthly KPI of both micro & full conversions.
  • regularly plan and develop contextually relevant creative concepts to connect with the urban youth.
  • develop and manage reward partnerships with lifestyle partners for skitto users. Manage contracts with existing partners and seek out opportunities with new partners. Also seek out opportunities to create engagement and promotional activities inside partner premises for skitto users.
  • oversee both creative and media agency contracts and ensure seamless exercise.
  • secure and manage the yearly advertising, promotion and trade marketing budget from the Commercial Division.
  • manage all internal communication for the brand to disseminate relevant information to all internal stakeholders.
  • be an advocate of an agile way of work within a team. Regularly evaluate skitto’s way of work and implement better ways to simplify and engage the task completion methods.
  • plan & execute engagement activities to maintain the monthly active users and daily active users on skitto forum.
  • plan and own the brand strategy for the product and validate the performance impact thought periodic reports with the help of business intelligence (brand performance metrics i.e. NPS score, recall rate, Facebook BLS Study etc.)

Educational Requirements:

  • graduation from reputed institutions with majors in Marketing/Finance (although we are not too picky, so STEM backgrounds are more than welcome to apply).

Relevant Experience Requirements:

  • minimum 6 years of working experience in the telecom industry with in-depth knowledge of brand management.
  • at least 4 years in brand management leadership role.
  • experience in agency contract and overall marketing budget management
  • good understanding of telco business and product management.
  • comfortable in communicating with people from all walks of life – from technical to business, from customer to CXO.
  • passionate about working in an agile dynamic team environment (loosely translates to ‘comfortable in working under time pressure’) (don’t worry, you’ll have a team backing you up at every stage).
  • lastly, responsible, and ready to internalize and own the role.

  • good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • good grasp over creative ideation and expressions.
  • a quirky and witty personality would be an added advantage.
  • ability to motivate team members in achieving organizational goals.
