Police arrested a young man at Bangalipara area in Sadar upazila of Thakurgaon district for posting a morphed photo of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on social media on Thursday.
The youth has been identified as Raju Hossain (18), son of Sanowar Hossain, reports UNB.
Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Tanvirul Islam said that Raju uploaded the morphed photo of Prime Minister Hasina's and shared the same with his friends on social media. "We tracked him down using technology on Thursday morning."
A case under the Digital Security Act has been filed against the youth, the cop said on Friday.
