LIVESTOCK sector of any country is a major contributor to sound public health. It is difficult to develop our country if this sector is not developed. Seven universities of the country have department of veterinary medicine at the moment, but the department should be opened in other universities also.
The government has already taken some steps to develop our livestock sector and if a special university is opened for the subject, it will help students earn higher degrees in the discipline.
