THE Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) has already drawn the attention of cricket lovers of all ages. It is already a star-studded affair and more cricket stars from around the world are joining the ranks. All matches are being telecast live and people who can not make it to the stadium to watch the matches, they watch on TV live actions of the game. This is a lively cricket fest for the cricket lovers and more particularly for the young budding cricketers who get an opportunity to see glimpses of international cricket stars like, Chris Gayle Shahid Afridi, Dwayne Bravo, Sohail Tanvir, Andre Russel, Kumara Shangakara along with our local heroes Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and Tamim iqbal. Very soon the Tigers will tour New Zealand and the local cricketers are already honing their skills. It has already created a lot of excitement among the cricket lovers as it will be interesting to see how the Tigers fare on the bouncy pitches of New Zealand and adapt to their conditions. Pakistan is already facing the music in New Zealand. We hope that some of the players who are playing BPL now will make it to the national eleven. And that will be a positive result of the BPL that has provided us with a much needed platform for showcasing our upcoming cricketing talents.
