BANGLADESH will face a strong England side in three ODIs and two test matches and it will be an interesting affair to behold. The Tigers will play the first ODI of the series on October 07 at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. They already had a good match practice in the just-concluded ODI series at home against Afghanistan, which they won. England certainly will be a different proposition altogether and the upcoming series is likely to be more closely contested. Cricket experts are also anticipating a tight contest in the series. It will not be a cakewalk for the English side as they have always struggled in the sub-continental conditions. Bangladesh should try to take advantage of it. England is just fresh from Pakistan series which ended with a draw in the Test series but England won the ODI series comfortably. Although there were uncertainties over the Bangladesh-England series in recent times, the series is finally on and it is great news for the cricket lovers of the country. I hope the Tigers will start their ODI series on the right note and the cricket loving people will be able to enjoy quality cricket in the upcoming series.
