CHILDREN, who are considered as the future architects of a nation, should be brought up with extreme care and attention. Although the economic condition of all parents is not the same, efforts should be made to provide all children with a balanced diet. That is an essential precondition for their proper physical and mental growth. At the same time, it is important to develop good food habits from an early age. Special attention should be given to foods carrying proper nutritional content. Children without proper nutrition suffer from deficiencies leading to various ailments and are often victims of stunned growth. Vitamin is essential for all and therefore every vitamin in right proportion is essential for particularly the growing children. If a child is not given vitamins at an early stage, he or she will suffer a lot in later life. This aspect of indispensability of nutrients should be highlighted in health campaigns by the government as well as the private sector.
