Md Younus Ali, born in 1967 in Jashore district's Sujalpur village, is better known in the media as Sabuj Younus. In 1992, he began his career in journalism by signing up with The Banglar Bani, the preeminent national Bengali newspaper at that time. He then switched to other well-known national dailies, such as The Daily Bhorer Kagoj and The Daily Jugantor, to broaden his expertise of journalism.
At The Daily Samakal, one of the most well-known newspapers in Bangladesh, the vastly experienced journalist has performed his duties as Senior Reporter, Chief Reporter, and News Editor. He was promoted to the positions of Associate Editor of The Daily Samakal and In-Charge of Samakal Online.
In addition to writing on journalism, Sabuj Younus, a graduate and postgraduate in Bangla literature from the University of Dhaka, the top university in Bangladesh, also writes about a variety of important multidisciplinary problems.
He learned about digital journalism while performing his duties as Samakal Online's In-Charge and then he observed that online journalism was growing rapidly over time. He then decided to write a book on digital journalism, which was eventually released at the Ekushey Book Fair.
