Hong Kong stocks rise; energy shares boost

Hong Kong stocks rose on Friday, tracking the energy shares which dipped while the IT sector edged higher.

The sub-index of the Hang Seng index tracking energy shares dipped 0.1 per cent.

The IT sector rose 2.7 per cent, according to Reuters.

AAC Technologies Holdings Inc, the top gainer on the Hang Seng, was up 5.73 per cent.

The biggest loser was China Unicom Hong Kong Ltd which was down 2.05 per cent.
