CHATTOGRAM, Apr 10: A team of the executives of CSE and top brokers recently visited Malaysia as part of knowledge-sharing with the Malaysian bourse and brokerage houses in Kuala Lumpur.
Three executives of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) and six executives of the CSE top brokers completed their five-day visit to Malaysia. The brokers are LankaBangla Securities, Multi Securities, BRAC, EPL Stock Brokerage, Be Rich and Kabir Securities, said a statement.
The tour was organised and sponsored by the CSE. This was a knowledge-sharing visit to the Bursa Malaysia and the top level brokerage houses in Kuala Lumpur.
The team was officially hosted by the Malaysian Exchange on April 5. The Bangladesh stock market executives received elucidated and practical information on general trading operation, settlement, brokerage services, corporate strategy and most importantly on the SME operation in Malaysia.
On the following day, the team members had a learning session on the Islamic market maneuver. The cooperation from the Bursa management was enormous which assisted the visiting team to fetch an intense learning on capital market and brilliant memory from Malaysia.
