Weekly review: All IT issues witness fall

The IT sector issues witnessed the highest correction in last week as the prices of all securities under the sector declined.

The share prices of the companies dipped between 4.62 per cent and 11.68 per cent in five sessions on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

After five sessions of last week, the sector comprising eight securities declined 8.5 per cent.

Of the companies, the share price of aamra networks declined 11.68 per cent or Tk 7.90 to close at Tk 59.70.

The company's board of director has recommended 10 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2018.

The company has also reported EPS of Tk. 4.01, NAV per share of Tk. 32.33 and NOCFPS of Tk. 2.23 for the year ended on June 30, 2018 against Tk. 2.31, Tk. 19.26 and Tk. 0.97 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

The share prices of aamra technology declined 4.62 per cent or Tk 1.30 to close at Tk 26.80. The company's EPS marginally rose for the year ended on June 30, 2018. It has reported company EPS of Tk. 1.61 for the year ended on June 30, 2018 as against Tk. 1.52 for the same period of the previous year.

The company's board of directors has recommended 10 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2018.

After five sessions, the share price of Agni Systems closed at Tk 18.60 with 7.0 per cent loss.

The share price of BDCOM Online declined 6.06 per cent to close at Tk 24.80 each. The company will hold its board meeting on October 29 to consider, among others, audited financial statements for the year ended on June 30, 2018.

The share price of Intech Limited dropped 5.80 per cent or Tk 12.13 to close at Tk 42 each on Thursday.

The share price of Information Services Network declined to Tk 27.70 on Thursday from Tk 28.60, the closing price of previous week.

The share price of IT Consultants shed 6.69 per cent or Tk 2.7 to close at Tk 37.60 on Thursday. The company's board has recommended 10 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2018. For same period, the company has reported EPS of Tk 1.14 against Tk 1.04 calculated in the previous year.
