Three listed companies have recommended no dividend for the second consecutive year amid losses incurred in last years.
The companies are Mithun Knitting and Dyeing, Bangladesh Services and Tallu Spinning Mills.
The declarations of the companies were disclosed in last week for the year ended on June 30, 2018.
The companies' losses rose in 2018 compared to the losses of previous year.
The companies also disbursed 'no' dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2017.
The share price of Mithun Knitting and Dyeing, a 'Z' category company, closed at Tk 16.30 each on Thursday with a loss of 0.60 per cent or Tk 0.10 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
The company has reported a loss of Tk 2.24, per share for the year ended on June 30, 2018 against the loss of Tk 1.84, per share for the same period of the previous year.
The share price of Tallu Spinning Mills closed at Tk 5.20 each on Thursday with a loss of 3.70 per cent or Tk 0.20.
The company has reported a loss of Tk 1.13 for the year ended on June 30, 2018 against the loss of Tk 1.12 for the same period of the previous year.
Bangladesh Services, a Z-category company, has incurred a loss of Tk 5.67 for the year ended on June 30, 2018 against the loss of Tk 5.04 for the same period of the previous year.
