The securities regulator will hold a meeting with a delegation of the Bangladesh Bank (BB) on March 15 to ensure more coordination between the regulatory bodies for the sake of the capital market.
The meeting will be held at the office of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
"The capital market is not an isolated area. The market will be affected, if other regulatory bodies concerned take decisions without maintaining proper coordination with the securities regulator," said a BSEC commissioner.
He noted that the securities regulator wanted to maintain proper coordination with other regulatory bodies and the government agencies.
"The coordination meeting will be held with the BB delegation for the greater interest of the country's capital market," he added.
