National Credit and Commerce Bank Ltd. has decided to enhance its authorised capital from Tk. 10 billion to Tk 20 billion.
The approval was given in the Bank's 8th Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM) held at Police Convention Hall, Dhaka on Sunday.
Chairman of NCC Bank Md. Nurun Newaz Salim presided over the meeting while Vice-Chairman Sohela Hossain, Chairman of the Executive Committee S. M. Abu Mohsin, Chairman of the Audit Committee Md. Amirul Islam FCA, FCS, Director's of the Bank Engineer Abdus Salam, Khairul Alam Chaklader, K. A. M. Haroon, Mohammed Sazzad Un Newaz, Managing Director & CEO Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, Company Secretary Md. Monirul Alam and a large number of shareholders were also present in the EGM.
Chairman of the bank Md. Nurun Newaz Salim said shareholders equity, total assets and EPS of the bank are increasing gradually while, cost of fund and net classified loans are decreasing. As a result, credit ratings and CAMELS ratings of the bank are showing upward trend. He added that, NCC Bank is continuously maintaining positive growth by assuring transparency and accountability as well as using advanced technology and better customer services.
