Libra Infusions has posted 3.37 per cent rise in earnings per share (EPS) in October-December quarter of 2017 as against the same quarter in the previous year, according to an official disclosure on Tuesday.
The company’s EPS was Tk 4.90 for October-December, 2017 as against Tk 4.74 for the same period in previous year.
In six months from July-December, 2017, EPS was Tk 0.04 as against Tk 0.78 for July-December, 2016.
The net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk 12.78 for July-December, 2017 as against Tk 2.28 for the same period in 2016. The net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 1,578.00 as of December 31, 2017 and Tk 1,576.37 as of December 31, 2016.
Each share of the company, which was listed on the Dhaka bourse in 1994, closed at Tk 502.80 on Monday at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
The company’s paid-up capital is Tk 12.52 million and authorised capital is Tk 100 million, while the total number of securities is 1.25 million.
The sponsor-directors own 34.43 per cent stake in company, while institutional investors own 13.86 per cent and the general public 51.71 per cent stake as of December 28, 2017, the DSE data shows.
The company disbursed 30 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2017. In 2016, the company disbursed 25 per cent cash dividend.
