Three more pharma & chemicals sector companies - Kohinoor Chemical, Orion Pharma and Orion Infusion- disclosed their third quarter (Q3) earnings for January-March, 2020 period.
The companies' earnings per share (EPS) fell between 22 per cent and 70 per cent year-on-year in January-March, 2020 quarter, according to separate official disclosures on Thursday.
Kohinoor Chemical: The EPS of Kohinoor Chemical plunged more than 70 per cent in January-March, 2020 quarter compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
The company's EPS stood at Tk 0.59 for January-March 2020 as against Tk 1.99 for January-March 2019.
In nine months, its EPS was Tk 5.77 in July, 2019 to March, 2020 which was Tk 6.03 in the same period of the previous fiscal.
The net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 46.85 as on March 31, 2020 (Restated) which was Tk 41.07 in the same period last year.
The net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk 12.21 for July, 2019 to March, 2020 as against Tk 12.08 for the same period last year.

Orion Pharma: Orion Pharma's consolidated EPS fell nearly 36 per cent in January-March, 2020 quarter compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
The company's consolidated EPS stood at Tk 0.61 for January-March 2020 as against Tk 0.95 for January-March 2019.
In nine months, its consolidated EPS was Tk 2.75 in July, 2019 to March, 2020 which was Tk 3.01 in the same period of the previous fiscal.
The consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 68.57 as on March 31, 2020 (excluding revaluation surplus) which was Tk 41.07 in the same period last year.
