The board of directors of GlaxoSmithKline Bangladesh Ltd has recommended 530 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2019.
The annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on April 16. The record date is March 16.
The company has also reported EPS of Tk. 81.83, NAV per share of Tk. 132.14 and NOCFPS of Tk. 82.84 for the year ended on December 31, 2019 as against Tk. (52.75), Tk. 104.11 and Tk. 44.67 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company today following its corporate declaration.
Each share of the insurer, which was listed on the Dhaka bourse in 1976, closed at Tk 1,844.30 each on Monday.
The company’s paid-up capital is Tk 120.46 million and authorised capital Tk 200 million while total number of securities is 12.04 million.
The sponsor-directors own 81.98 per cent stake in the company, while institutional investors own 15.60 per cent, foreign investors 0.37 per cent and the general public 2.05 per cent as of December 31, 2019, the DSE data showed.
