The board of directors of Genex Infosys has approved an agreement with Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd, to be called ‘Agreement for Mobile Device Business.’
The company has signed the agreement for the purpose of commercial launching of service to facilitate customers, said an official disclosure on Monday.
Under the service, the customers will be able to purchase wide range of mobile brands, electronic devices and accessories and top-notch Internet of Things (IOT) items at Banglalink point of sales and service points, according to the disclosure.
This mobile devices business segment is expected to generate approximately Tk 120 million in revenue per year, the disclosure added.
Each share of the Genex Infosys, which made trading debut on February 6 this year, closed at Tk 68.90 on Sunday.
Its share traded between Tk 31.80 and Tk 70.80 in the last one year.
The company has recommended 5.0 per cent cash and 15 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2019.
The company has also reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 2.71, net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 16.70 and net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of Tk 4.57 for the year ended on June 30, 2019 as against Tk 2.02, Tk 15.98 and Tk 4.04 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
The company’s paid-up capital is Tk 816 million and authorised capital is Tk 1.0 billion while total number of securities is 81.60 million.
The sponsor-directors own 34.46 per cent stake in the company, while institutional investors own 28.46 per cent, foreign investors 0.01 per cent and the general public 37.07 per cent as of November 30, 2019, the DSE data showed.
