The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) has revised its CSE30 and CSE50 indices based on the performance of the listed companies, said a statement.
The new indices will come into effect from September 16 next.
The new companies which have been included in CSE30 index are Argon Denims, BRAC Bank, LankaBangla Finance, Mercantile Bank, Shahjibazar Power Company, Singer Bangladesh, The Acme Laboratories and United Commercial Bank.
On the other hand, AB Bank, Beximco, Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation, Eastern Housing, Fareast Islami Life Insurance, Southeast Bank, The Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals Industry and Uttara Finance & Investment have been excluded from the previous list.
The companies which have been included in the CSE50 index are BBS Cables, IFAD Autos, Singer Bangladesh and Premier Bank.
AB Bank, Dhaka Electric Supply Company, Meghna Petroleum and Mutual Trust Bank were excluded from the previous list.
Both the CSE30 and CSE50 index are reviewed twice a year.
