Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has withdrawn the floor price of 169 listed companies, according to BSS.
The stock market regulator informed the decision in an order issued on Wednesday, in the exercise of powers conferred by Section 20A of the Securities and Exchange Ordinance, 1969.
The BSEC said, “This order shall have immediate effect and shall remain in force until further notice.
It said, “Downward price change limit (circuit breaker) for the 169 companies/securities will be one per cent based on the reference price or previous trading day's closing price."
However, according to the rules, the upward price change limit (circuit breaker) will be a maximum of 10 per cent in a day.
