The government has extended the tenure of BSEC commissioner Professor Helal Uddin Nizami for two more years. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Monday. Mr. Nizami joined the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) immediately. As per the notification, his designation will be equivalent to additional secretary. Mr. Nizami joined the BSEC on May 4, 2011 for three years. Later, his tenure was extended for four years which was ended on May 3, 2018. On Monday, the government extended his tenure for the second time.
