Bangladesh Association of Publicly Listed Companies (BAPLC) has organised a seminar to raise awareness on various aspects of the capital markets of Bangladesh recently.
Finance Minister AbulMaal Abdul Muhith attended the 'Raising Awareness on Various Aspects of the Capital Market' seminar held in the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
Prof Dr M Khairul Hossain, the chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission was present at the programme as a special guest, while BAPLC president Muhammad Aziz Khan chaired the session.
Farzana Chowdhury ACII (UK), the Managing Director & CEO of Green Delta Insurance moderated a panel discussion at the BAPLC's seminar, according to a media statement.
Key note presenter of the panel discussion was Arif Khan, CFA, FCMA, CEO and Managing Director of IDLC Finance Limited.
Ahmad Rashid Lali, President of DSE Brokers Association of Bangladesh, Dr Muhammad Abdul Mazid, Chief Coordinator of Bangladesh Diabetic Samity, Mamun Rashid, Managing Partner of PwC Bangladesh Private Limited, K A M Majedur Rahman, Managing Director, Dhaka Stock Exchange and Md Shafiur Rahman Mazumdar FCA, FCMA, Managing Director of Chittagong Stock Exchange were also present at the seminar.
