Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has revised the capital market transaction hours following the new government office timings, reports bdnews24.com.
The capital market will now remain operational from 10:30 a.m. to 2:50 p.m., followed by a 10-minute post-closing session until 3 p.m., according to the new timetable announced on Tuesday.
A five-minute pre-opening session will also be held at 10:25 a.m.The new hours will take effect on November 15, according to BSEC spokesperson Mohammad Rezaul Karim.
The move followed the resumption of regular transaction hours for banks.
