The board of directors of Atlas Bangladesh has recommended 10 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2018.
The final approval of dividend will come during the annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on December 22, said an official disclosure on Tuesday.
The record date is November 26.
The company has also reported earnings per share (EPS) of minus Tk 1.23, net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 148 and net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of Tk 1.61 for the year ended on June 30, 2018 as against minus Tk 2.39, Tk 165 and minus Tk 3.58 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
The state-run company, which was listed on the Dhaka bourse in 1988, disbursed 2.0 per cent cash and 10 per cent stock dividend in 2017.
Each share of the company closed at Tk 117.50 on Monday at Dhaka Stock Exchange.
There will be no price limit today on the trading of shares of the company following its corporate disclosure.
The company’s paid-up capital is Tk 301.16 million and authorised capital is Tk 1.0 billion, while total number of securities is 30.11 million, according to statistics from the DSE.
The sponsor-directors own 1.13 per cent stake in the company, while the government owns 51 per cent, institutional investors own 20.36 per cent and the general public 27.51 percent as on September 30, 2018.
