Australia will face Sri Lanka today at 8 p.m. BST at Dubai International Stadium. Both the teams will look to maintain their 100 per cent winning streak in their World T20 campaign.
Sri Lanka, after such dominating qualifiers, had a scary outing against Bangladesh on Sunday, however managed to come out with a win. They would like to improve certain aspects of their game as well.
They would not like to depend on another one-man show again. Especially now when the team is looking really competitive and a worthy candidate for the semi-finals.
Australia also won their first fixture against South Africa. But they struggled to chase a mere total of 119. The batting of Australia, bar Aaron Finch and Mitchell Marsh, has been quite off all through the year.
This is a serious concern for them for their pursuit of the semi-finals. They should have no complaints about their bowling as all of them are in good form.
The winner of this game will be one step closer to the semi-finals. Both of them have some issues to sort out. It will be a real test of character for both teams.
