Bangladesh managed to get 124 runs on the board against England in their second match in the round of Super 12.
Winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to bat first once again. The Tigers arrived in the game with a forced change as Mohammad Saifuddin, who has been ruled out of the tournament due to an injury, made a place for Shariful Islam, who is making his World Cup debut in this game.

In the penultimate over bowled by Adil Rashid, Nasum Ahmed got a couple of lusty blows away for two consecutive sixes and a deft touch to guide one through the gap between short third and backward point for a four.
The final over from Mills yielded only 5 runs as Nurul Hasan (16 off 18) gloved a fast-paced bouncer to the keeper and Mustafizur Rahman completely failed to pick a back-of-the-hand slower delivery only to receive a golden duck.
Nasum Ahmed remained unbeaten on the other end with 19 runs off 9 deliveries.
Tymal Mills was the pick of the bowlers with his spell of 3/27 in four overs. Moeen and Livingstone both chipped in with a couple of wickets each.
