Australia is beaten in the fifth T20I by 60 runs in a rather embarrassing batting display which ended up being their lowest total ever in T20 internationals (62). Bangladesh win the series by 4-1 margin.

Chasing 123, skipper Wade finally had a good outing as he looked solid in his 22(22). Mcdermott was also going well but could only go as far as 17(16). But no one else could step up. Even no one else could reach double figures.

Bangladeshi bowlers ran riot through the Aussie batting lineup. Shakib Al Hasan shined the brightest for Bangladesh as he picked up 4 wickets. Saifuddin picked 3 and Nasum picked 2.

Shakib Al Hasan became only the second bowler behind Lasith Malinga and the only player to score 1000 runs and pick 100 wickets in T20I.

In the first innings, Bangladesh managed to accumulate 122 for the loss of 8. The new opening partnership Naim-Mahedi gave them a stand of 42, the highest in the series. Naim was the highest scorer of the innings with 23(23). Mahmudullah (19 0ff 14) and Soumya(16 off 18) also put decent scores considering the pitch.

Christian and Ellis picked 2 wickets for Australia while Agar, Turner and Zampa picked 1.
