Bangladesh win toss, bowl first in third ODI against West Indies

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first in the third and final ODI of the three-match series against hosts West Indies at Guyana Saturday.

Bangladesh did not include Anamul Haque Bijoy in the squad for the third ODI, reports UNB.

The batter recently scored more than 1,100 runs in a single List-A event, which helped him return to the national side after a long gap. However, Anamul failed to impress while playing a Test and three T20Is in the ongoing tour.

Bangladesh won the first ODI match by six wickets. Mehidy Hasan won the player of the match award after taking three wickets for 36 runs.

The Tigers won the second match by nine wickets, and Mehidy picked up four wickets. Left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed bagged three wickets in the match and became the player of the match.

Before the ODIs, both teams locked horns in a two-match Test and three-match T20I series. Bangladesh lost all the matches except a T20I which was a no-result one because of rain with the West Indies in charge.
