Bangladesh will co-host ODI World Cup in 2031

Bangladesh is set to co-host the 2031 ODI World Cup with India.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday announced the names of the 12 host nations for eight of its upcoming tournaments.

Apart from hosting the 2031 ODI World Cup with Bangladesh, India will also co-host the 2026 T20 World Cup with Sri Lanka and host the 2029 Champions Trophy.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has been awarded the hosting rights of the 2025 Champions Trophy.

It will be the first major global cricket tournament played in Pakistan since 1996 when it co-hosted the Men's Cricket World Cup with India.

In 2024, cricketers will live their American dreams as the USA will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup for the first time alongside West Indies.

T20 World Cup will be played down under in Australia and New Zealand in October 2028. England will share T20 World Cup hosting duties with Ireland and Scotland in 2030.

It will be the first time since 1999 that Ireland and Scotland will host a flagship cricket event.
