Members of Shahjalal University Press Club on Thursday elected the executive committee for the year of 2018-2019.
The election began at 10:00 am on the campus and continued till 12:00 am, said chief election commissioner Prof Muhsin Aziz Khan of Industrial and Production Engineering department.
The elected members are President Ziaul Islam (Amader Somoy), Vice-president Rifat Al Mamun (Daily Inqilab), General Secretary Junaid Ahmed (Daily Bhorer Kagoj), Joint-secretary Safakat Manzur (Daily Bonik Barta), Treasurer Enamul Haque Noman (Daily Naya Diganta), Office Secretary Mehde Kabir (Daily Jugantor), according to a UNB report.
The others office-bearers of the committee are Imran Hossain (bdnews24), Araf Ahmed (Daily Manabzamin), Moazzem Afran (Daily Sangbad) has been elected Executive Member.
