East West University Business Club (EWUBC) promotes leadership and entrepreneurship with a view to create a bridge between students and the corporate world. To provide student's knowledge about extensive business and build up their ability by giving them all the tastes of market in one single box by 360° strategy, the club is organising a nationwide business strategy competition named "Briefcase 2019- an inter-university 360° business strategy competition".

The first round of the business strategy competition named 'Round 1: Build the campaign' and the semi-final round called 'Round 2: On-spot case' was held on July 27 and 29 respectively.  They have already found the top eight teams, and they have organised an event of Trophy Unveiling Ceremony of the competition.

Syed Manzur Elahi, chairperson, and Board of Trustees, East West University attended the event as the chief guest while Professor MM Shahidul Hassan, vice-chancellor, East West University was the programme chair. The guest of honour at the event was Parvez Saiful Islam, chief operation officer (COO) of Ruchi and special guest was Imtiaz Firoze, head of marketing, Square Group of Industries.

The moderators of EWUBC were also present there in the ceremony. On behalf of the moderators, Silvia Akter, assistant professor of East West University, shared her feelings about the club's achievement.

The guests and moderators of the club unveiled their champion's trophy and celebrated their glorious journey of 20 years in a concert on July 31.

The club started its journey in 1999 and played a vital role in making this a platform sustain the dreams of the students into corporeity.

This year EWUBC has completed its 20 years of establishment.
