RUET hosts two-day technocracy fanfare

A two-day technocracy fanfare ended at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) on Friday paving the way for creating a platform for the enthusiastic RUETians to showcase their talents and skills.

The event also introduced different idealism and technique in different sector of robotics. It has brought out the capabilities among all participants introducing them with the world. It also promoted intellectual and practical development in the field of mechanical, industrial and material engineering.

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) of RUET hosted the biggest tech carnival for the enthusiastic mega minds of RUET.

Chaired by Department Head of CSE Prof Nazrul Islam, the closing ceremony was, addressed, among others, by Prof Rafiqul Islam Sheikh of Department of Electrical and Electronics, Dean of Electrical and Electronics Faculty Prof Abdur Razzaque and Head of the department Prof Ajoy Krishna Sarker.

“The world has attained remarkable improvement with breakthrough of significant expansion and development of electrical, computer and telecommunication,” said Prof Abdur Razzaque.

The technocracy fanfare focuses the rapid strides and technological advancements in electrical and electronics engineering in recent years. It aspires to open a forum for technical excellence and exchange of technology between technocrats, research scholars, and representatives from the academia and industry.

Widespread research and innovative practices are propelling the world to a new plateau of development, reports BSS.

He said the fare would provide an ample opportunity to academicians, engineers, professionals, researchers, specialists and students from home and abroad for sharing to curve the engineering challenges leading to sustainable development.
