State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md. Zakir Hossain has said all primary schools of the country will remain open till Ramadan 20.
"The decision has been taken to make up the losses induced by Covid-19 pandemic," he said at an event in Kurigram on Saturday, reports BSS.
Mentioning different development works of the government in the education sector, Zakir said the government is reaching new books to students at the beginning of New Year.
Earlier, the state minister inaugurated the centenary celebration of the school by realising balloons and cutting the ribbon.
