Suppose someone has a great urge to work for mankind. What profession would come to one's mind first? Out of many, the medical profession might pop up in the minds of the majority. However, if someone asks whether there is any other option that plays the similar role in a more implicit manner, the answer will be 'yes', and it is pharmaceuticals. Being a pharmacist gives one a similar scope to work for  society.
