A total of 3,44,114 students of primary and secondary schools in Manikganj will get 29,67,081 text books free of cost on the 1st of January, 2019.
Manikganj District Education Office (DEO) sources said about 20,41,186 text books will be distributed among all the secondary level schools, including 162 secondary schools and 30 madrasas.
District Primary Education Office (DPEO) sources said a total of 9,25,895 books will be distributed among all of the primary level schools, including 649 government primary schools in the district on 1st January, 2019, reports BSS.
In addition, students of KG schools and Ebtedayee madrasas will also get the text books in the region at the same time, the sources added.
