IU set to launch Bangabandhu Corner

The authority of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia is set to launch 'Bangabandhu Corner' at central library of the university on March 17, said a press release on Tuesday.

IU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari will inaugurate it while Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr M Selim Toha, acting librarian M Ataur Rahman and among others will be present, reports BSS.

IU Vice Chancellor Rashid Askari said, the facility is set to launch at IU campus on the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

More than 100 books written on Bangabandhu will be there at the beginning of the corner meant to help the researchers to study on Bangabandhu, he added.
